Pittwater Situated on the east cost, 30k north of Sydney, the Pittwater is a national water wonderland. Bounded by the rolling green hills of Ku-ring-gai National Park, it is going to be our play ground for a few days... The home of many water sports (some alcoholic) and famous for its ideal sailing conditions. After breakfast (Check out the menu) there are a number of activities planned before lunch... Including:
Then when we get bored its over yonder to the Pittwater side of Newport, overlooking Church Point, Scotland Island and the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park to the Netport Arms Hotel. Views that rival those of the Watsons Bay Hotel. Six bars all to ourselves with a bistro AND restaurant. Although the beer garden seems to be the most popular. On Sunday there is even live Jazz.
Castle Lagoon - Pittwater For a bit of swashbuckling fun we're going to try and find Castle Lagoon. Nobody knows where it is but we're going to try and find it.. There might even be a few more of Robert's spot prizes to win? We're told that Castle Lagoon provides very good anchorage. It is surrounded by national park and one of the hidden treasures of these extensive waterways.. It's natural vegetation is a sancturary for native flora and fauna. Sounds like someone has been reading the brochure!
Pittwater & Ocean After Pizza (Check out the menu) it is time for TWILIGHT RACING!!! Twilight Racing is the ideal way to work out who is best crew while enjoying the natural beauty of the Pittwater as the sun sets over the rolling hills of the Ku-ring-gai National Park.
After we get back and enough people are standing there is more music and beer. Please bring your Ham and Pinapple Shirts for 'hawaiian' night on the beach!!!!!!! If numbers permitt one boat will also be available for a night sail - you never know.. they might end up in Noumea!
Check out the menu for information about lunch.
